Even The internet is affected by global warming?

Apparently so! There is a new Google Earth add on that shows the effects of global warming, featuring such things as sea levels, vegetation, and plant growth after global warming occurs. Oh yeah, did i forget to mention that the whole thing is narrated by Al Gore? This is one good feature that i think will indeed help the current and next generation understand the effects and truly be driven to take action.

Iflix......coming soon to an iphone near you!

Netflix has recently announced that they are planning on eventually putting netflix on the Iphone. Although, before then they wish to put it on as many gaming platforms as possible. It looks like for once someones givin the OG platforms's a turn before the freshman Iphone takes their share of the cake! For now, Netflix seems to be very happy with thier success on the Xbox 360, which was a brilliant idea that has pushed them to expand as much as possible, which will ultimately cause netflix to be available pretty much anywhere as far as we can tell......

Xmen movie rumors......yes? no?

Maybe so? As of now we can't all be too sure. An actor from the recent film "X-men: Origins Wolverine" recently tweeted that he was "locked in for the next film". Thus bringing about many rumors of the next X men film, rumors that went on to say that it would kick off in February. Shuler Donner negated these claims and made it clear to the public that its wasn't known yet weather or not the next film will be in production, but its definitely not in the works as of now.

BRAAAAAAINSSS

Resident Evil 6? Numero seis? serio? Its official, there WILL be another Resident evil but it doesnt seem like the release will hit stores any time soon since Capcom hasnt even made a decision as to who is going to carry it this year. If that wasnt odd enough, they were actually trying to decide based on a game of blackjack, which didnt work, so now its going to be decided on a game of poker. Here's my beef with this. Firtst, let me make it clear that RE5 completely sucked, and that RE 4 is still the best one yet. I dont care how many graphics you put into a game, if the gameplay sucks, the gameplay sucks. Sure i have to admit the artwork is pretty amazing and the screenshots you can get are pretty dopetastic, but walking in straight lines through a whole level with the same random zombies comin at you? Come on Capcom, your better than that! I really do hope they give someone with some real brains a chance, perhaps you should pass it on to bethesda? That would be my choice........

New silent hill movie

which means more amazing computer graphic imaging to be displayed in the film. If you haven't seen the last film and can appreciate the gritty horror artwork that goes into anything from the characters to the set design, go pick up a copy right now!

new microsoft game platform please?

NO! Microsoft is continuing to make it clear that they are not coming out with any new game platforms. The head of the game studios at microsoft, Phil Spencer, says that we will all benefit from this.....why you ask? He made a point and i think i can completely see where he is coming from. Releasing another platform at this point in the gaming industry would be pretty useless, oh sure you can add more memory and have as many upgraded defaults as you want, but really what would the consumer be getting? It would benefit both the consumers and microsoft from putting a bunch of money into a new software if they just maintianed the course and focused on the 360, which is at a perfect point in the market. So why would microsoft want to gamble with a new platform that could not only fail, but also bring the 360 down with it? this is exactly why it is not going to happen.

playstation 3.......D?

In Berlin at the IFA show, Sony was walking tall as they displayed one of their top selling games, WipEout. Now, normally i wouldn't be making any hoopla over Sony displaying an old game at a conference, but they were showing this game in all angles, yeah......3D! The game was being played on a special Bravvia TV that is designed to show Playstation 3 games in 3D. Since none of us want to go out and buy a TV for "i dont know how many rediculous dollars", playstation has said that they want to have 3D be applied to all Playstations, so that it could be played on all TV's. However, we must remember that even though playstation is putting new ammo in its gun, if the thing dont fire its useless. What i mean by that is that its no use having three dimensional bugs and glitches, because thats just too irritating. When will Sony answer our prayers???

What would you dooOOoo for a.......

Beatles inspired custom made X box 360? Would you pay...... six hundred dollars? seven hundred? Anyone? Any takers? How about seven thousand four hundred dollars? Thats how much the current bid is on the first of the fifty limited edition beatles inspired by the Beatles. Now normally it would be ridiculous to drop that kind of moola on a game console but Harmonix, the company that is auctioning off the little masterpieces, is giving the proceeds to the charity known as doctors without borders, so it really isnt all that whacky. However, something tells me that even if it weren't for the cause, the numbers wouldn't be very far from ridiculous as well, knowing a few Beatle fanatics myself that would only START the bid at 8,000, maybe 9,000 just to test the others.......

Get your touch on......no not like that.

apple just released a new, or should i say, "updated" version of the ipod touch. The new line up in the family features an 8GB model, a 32GB, and a 64GB model. Since the 8GB only costs $199, word is that the new touch is going to give the upcoming "pspGO" a run for its money, literally. With the touch's recent popularity as a gaming platform, the people over at playstation are going to have to make a couple of changes to their upcoming release, since the new psp is going to be more expensive than apples newest arrival, which has a higher graphics capability than its bigger brother-the original ipod touch. If the pspGO DOES end up being 50 dollars more, than i hope its worth the money.

Youtube rentals??

youtube is said to be renting out movies soon. apparently google is talking with movie companies in order to make deals. This was weird news to me simply because it seemed highly unlikely. with all of the technology today that people can access, it would be very hard for me if i were the head of a movie company, to let my full movies be streamed to peoples computers. For me, i would feel too vunurable to let my product end up on people's desktops even if it was just for a couple of hours......

Sony owning up to it........

Sony Entertainment's president just recently made it clear that he was aware of the problems occurring with the PS3's online play. Regardless of the fact that PS3 users have asked for certain things since the platform came out, no updates seem to satisfy. As a friend of many Ps3 users I myself have heard quite a few things about the systems capabilities in certain areas that were described in ways i can not repeat. Sony's president did admit that they were a bit late on the fixes. Hopefully since we all now know that they are aware of the problem, that we will soon know that they are aware on the solutions. Only time will tell.
